Life has a way of putting you in a rut sometimes. Then you go on this incredible journey and realize that no matter what life brings you, you can always turn to Christ. My family and I just came back from one such journey with the K-LOVE Friends and Family Cruise. The most important thing I realized was that Christ MUST come first in our lives no matter what. Each and every artist that performed does just that. I was awed by the performances of everyone but most importantly, I was awed by how all of you shine in your walk with Jesus.
People sometimes put others on a pedestal because they are wealthy or have a number one song in the top 20 countdown. But you showed me that regardless or your fame, regardless of the Dove awards, regardless of all of these worldly possessions, you are grounded and the most important person in your life is Jesus Christ.
I can’t thank you enough for being real and genuine with everyone onboard. My life will never be the same. Even if I am lost trying to get to one part of the ship, I can always turn to Jesus to right my ship.
Thank You Matthew West and may God bless you and your family with your new addition.
Hope to see you again soon.

Matthew, My husband and I were on the Klove Cruise for our 10th anniversary. I wasn't able to meet you, but we did go to a couple of your concerts. Thank you. They were absolutely awesome. Even tho I didn't get to meet any of the artists, I feel like I know them so much better. I definitely want to go on another Klove cruise. My husband and I loved your song about the Chocolate Melting Cakes. Can you post the lyrics on this blog? I want to share a recipe with you so that you can make your own cakes at home. They are really simple.

Chocolate Molten Cakes (or Chocolate Melting Cakes)

Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Generously butter 6 ramekins (3/4 cup size)

Stir 8 ozs of Ghiradelli 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate (the best) and 1/2 cup + 2TBL unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat until melted and smooth, cool slightly.

Whisk 6 large egg yolks and 6 large eggs and 2 tsp vanilla in a large bowl until combined.

Whisk in powdered sugar into egg mixture. Mix in small amounts at a time, the mixture may be lumpy.

Whisk in cooled chocolate mixture and then flour.

Divide mixture evenly between 6 prepared ramekins. Place on a baking sheet.

Bake cakes approximately 12 minutes. If you bake too long or the temp of the oven is too hot, the centers will not have the melted chocolate. It will just be a chocolate cake.

I hope you get a chance to make this. It is really simple and people are amazed how the center stays soft.

My husband thinks I'm silly for posting this recipe :) Oh well. Lots of people think that I'm silly.

Cruise deals

Sounds like a great vacation! Good food is so important, and good rest just the same- I see you made some friends on this cruise- which is even better. I think you can say this way a vacation of a life time :)
